This is Nanny.

Curls set, sunglasses on, gold mic in hand. Nanny greets you when you install, waves from the clock while the party runs, and never misses a chorus. She runs the party now: she picks the songs when the queue runs dry, hosts the karaoke, and shakes up the mix.

How a Hootin’ Nanny night goes

A small hub runs on your computer. Everything else happens on phones and the TV.

Doors open

Start Hootin’ Nanny on your computer. Every Sonos room shows up as a tile with play, volume and grouping. Pick the party room.

Scan & pick a Roomie

Guests scan the QR code, choose a name, a Roomie and their own look. No app to install.

TRACK 03

Everyone gets a turn

Add songs from your music, Sonos favourites and links. Fair turns mean nobody jumps the line, even with ten songs waiting.

The TV comes alive

Stage lighting in the cover's colours, a spinning record, up-next cards with who added each song, and reactions that float across the screen.

Karaoke mode puts the words on the TV. Play Guess Who Added It and DJ Battle, or follow a Theme Night.

Turn on karaoke and your TV becomes a stage. Hootin’ Nanny finds the lyrics for the song that’s playing and lights up each line right on the beat, so everyone can sing along.

    Whoever picked the song gets the spotlight. Their Roomie steps up front while the others dance.

  • Lyrics on every phone

    Tap Sing to follow the words on your phone too, handy when the TV’s across the room.

  • The crowd cheers

    Guests send ❤️ 🔥 ⭐ ⚡ from their phones, and the cheers float up the screen. Most cheers takes the crown.

When guests join, they pick a Roomie. It follows their songs onto the TV, rides along with their reactions, and takes the crown when they win a DJ Battle. Tap one to say hi.

    Each license belongs to one computer, the one that runs Hootin’ Nanny.

    1. Find your computer code. Install Hootin’ Nanny. Its setup page opens on your computer and shows the code, like HN-7K3MQ-9TD2X, with a button to copy it.
    2. Sign in and send it here with your name. Sign-in uses Internet Identity: no password, no email.
    3. Your key appears here under My licenses once it's approved. Paste it on the setup page and tap Unlock. That's it, the party's licensed.
